The Federal Capital Territory has declared that there will be restriction of business and commercial activities to 6 am 9 pm as part of new measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

The territory also urged residents to restrict their movements outside their individual residence from 9 pm.

Mohammad Bello, the FCT Minister, who announced these on Thursday at a press briefing in Abuja also noted that restaurants are only allowed to serve meals in takeaway packs.

“Sittings in restaurants are discouraged except in hotels where social distancing is practicable,” he said.
